Timber preservation and treatment
Dry rot is caused in timber by a species of fungi, Serpula lacrymans, which can cause serious timber infestation and weaken its structural integrity. This can, in turn, cause infections and affect human health. Dry rot needs to be carefully inspected and treated. Such treatments include sterilisation of the complete masonry and eventually, complete eradication of the cause. Our team can offer efficient dry rot treatments and timber preservation.
